Robert Koemans is a Dutch jazz pianist, and an active member of the traditional and modern jazz scene.

He attended the Jazz Institut Berlin (JIB) in 2014, and graduated from Codarts in 2016. Robert now works as a pianist, composer, arranger and teacher in several different projects and fields, and has shared the stage with many jazz greats, like: Benjamin Herman, Jasper Blom, Reinier Baas, and Marjorie Barnes.

Robert received great recognition for his work as a band leader, musician, and composer, and has played at several festivals and venues in the Netherlands and beyond, like North Sea Jazz Festival, Bimhuis, PaRaDox, de Melkweg ,and the North Sea Jazz Club.
