Oscar Ployart plays piano inspired by both the legends of Black American music and his Scandinavian background. His goal is to create beautiful, warm and imaginative music that can energize and give meaning to people. He has toured all over Europe and is currently working on his jazz quintet debut release.

Ployart/Lannér/Austad is a Scandinavian jazz trio featuring Oscar Ployart (piano), Olle Lannér (bass), and Magnus Austad (drums). Since forming in 2018 while studying jazz in the Swedish countryside, the trio has developed a distinctive sound that blends original compositions with fresh takes on Scandinavian repertoire and classics from the American Songbook. The trio has performed at places/festivals like Oslo Jazz Festival, Glenn Miller Cafe (Stockholm) and Erlings Jazz- og Ølbar (Aarhus) with guests like Per ‘Texas’ Johansson, Emmalisa Hallander and Gijs Idema.
They are currently working on their first album.
