Saxophonist and composer Lachy Hamilton hails from the small community of Scotland Island, Sydney, Australia. Currently based in Amsterdam, Hamilton's musical journey as seen him record and perform with the likes of Tkay Maidza, Lime Cordiale, James Morrison, Donny Benet, Budjerah. His eponymous trio, quartet and octet - the later performing under the name ‘YeahNuptet’ - regularly take the stage throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
For his third studio album titled: ‘Lach Stock’; Lachy Hamilton composed new works with the musical persuasions and IRL characteristics of each band member in mind, creating a unique blend of styles and emotions that serve only to propel the music.
Featuring; Alberto Romanos on trumpet, Joan Codina on trombone, Ton Felices on upright bass, Giacomo Camilletti on drums, and Lachy Hamilton on tenor saxophone, the band draws inspiration from their love and appreciation of Black American Music, whilst guiding the music through various European influences to their own realm of creativity.
