Daniel Cohen is a Juilliard graduate award-winning saxophonist, woodwind doubler, composer, arranger, and educator based in New York City. He has achieved first place in multiple prestigious competitions, including the Downbeat student awards best jazz arrangement, Vandoren Emerging Artist, Carinthia Saxophone Competition, Jim Widner Competition, Kfar Saba Wind Competition, and the Rostov International Jazz Competition.
Cohen has played with renowned jazz musicians such as Kenny Washington, Ted Nash and many more and has performed at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, New York City Center, Konzerthaus Berlin, Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, Dizzy’s Club, Smalls, and the Red Sea Jazz Festival.
In recent years, Cohen has expanded his musical repertoire by incorporating classical music influences, further enriching his unique style, which remains deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. His compositions skillfully blend elements of both jazz and classical music.
Joan Fort (1997) is a Spanish guitarist and composer based in Amsterdam (NL). He holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar from the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Temple University in Philadelphia.
Throughout his career, Joan has had the privilege of performing and collaborating with renowned musicians such as Dick Oatts, Jeremy Pelt, Vincent Herring, Grant Stewart, Jorge Rossy, Bill McHenry, Benjamin Herman, Michael Weiss, Jasper Blom, Rita Payés, and Virginia MacDonald.
