The Lassi Friman Quartet (Finland–Cyprus–Germany–USA) brings an energetic and international sound to the stage, blending original modern jazz with a dynamic selection of reimagined standards. 

Formed in 2023 within Amsterdam’s thriving jazz scene, the quartet brings together four musicians with their own voices, backgrounds and perspectives, who naturally find common ground through shared musical values, improvisation and forward-looking ideas.

Led by Helsinki-based guitarist and composer Lassi Friman, the group delivers music defined by infectious swing and groove, rich improvisational interplay and melodies that resonate long after. Their live performance moves fluidly between acoustic warmth and electric edge, offering a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary.
