The Aseo Trio is a modern jazz group newly formed in Rotterdam. Pianist Aseo Friesacher has passionately explored the field of original composing, blending jazz with world music influences. Drawing inspirations from modern jazz, classical traditions and the musical heritage from countries like Japan, India or the middle east, the trio creates a captivating fusion that transcends genres. Known for his beautiful touch and mesmerising harmonies, with his trio, Aseo delivers a sonic experience that is both innovative and deeply expressive, redefining contemporary jazz.

Aseo Friesacher

Aseo started his jazz piano studies in the Vienna Conservatory of Music & Arts and studied with Aaron Wonesch. Later he graduated at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. In 2022 Aseo obtained his master degree in music from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and is based in the Netherlands since. He became very active in the dutch music scene as well as internationally, playing in several bands such as the Aseo Trio, Loek van den Berg Quintet, Kaiju Project and the Jong Metropole (2019/20).

Aseo worked together with notable musicians such as Miho Hazama, Jim Black, Michael League, Jamison Ross, Felix Schlarmann, Nikolaus Holler and Matheus Jardim among others.

Claudio Jr De Rosa

Saxophonist, Clarinetist, Arranger, Composer and Educator, Claudio Jr De Rosa (1992) is a rising musician in the European Jazz Scene.

Included in the list of the top10 Italian emerging musicians in 2018 (Musica Jazz), De Rosa has been awarded several times, both as a leader, co-leader and as an arranger/composer. Mainly as a bandleader, he performed in the Netherlands, Italy, France, England, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Poland, Taiwan, Canada, Croatia, Morocco, Germany, Georgia, including major highlights at North Sea Jazz Festival 2018, Umbria Jazz 2018&2019, Lantaren Venster, Venice Jazz Festival, Ibiza Jazz Festival, Getxo International Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Festival and many others.
